It has been awhile since I last posted, I have been more than a bit busy as you will read below!!  I also had a little trouble with my computer and mobileme (YES, that even happens on a Mac, for all of you PC users who I give a hard time to!) I will be posting MUCH more often as there is simple so many cool and amazing things going on.

2009 is here and with it many exciting changes and opportunities. As many of you know I have been in the process of separating myself from day to day operations for the past 5 years to focus on the next steps of my evolution.  This includes training Coaches and Facilitators, writing and playing with my family. 

I am thrilled to announce that as of January 9th  Personal Best Seminars Alberta will be owned and operated by a brilliant woman, Rae Ann Wood Schatz. Rae Ann has owned and operated Edmonton Personal Best for the past 8 years where she has built a fantastic business and Personal Best community. I know that she will do a stellar job of leading Personal Best Seminars into its next stage of evolution.

I want to acknowledge, and congratulate Rae Ann. This is a monumental achievement for her. It was not long ago that she and I spoke about her becoming a Facilitator, which she did in record time soloing in PB 1, PB 2 and PB 3 faster than ANYONE in the history of our organization!  Just one clue about her capacity and brilliance.  Not to mention that she has such a big heart and giving spirit that she actually donated a kidney to one of her graduates that saved his life.

From a clients’ perspective, you will not really notice much difference with the exception of better customer service as the team integrates the entire province and streamlines the operations and systems. There will be greater consistency in all of the cities and overall a smoother operation that is easier and more enjoyable to do business with. 

The question that I have been getting from everyone is “What will you do?”  Well, be clear that I am not going anywhere.  In a very real way, Personal Best Seminars is a part of me and my family. I still own Personal Best Seminars Inc.  I will still be Facilitating Personal Best Level Three Weekends, launching the Mastermind Groups, designing new programs and training Facilitators.  I will be around, just operating at a different level: more in alignment with my gifts and vision of contribution.

I want to thank you Rae Ann for your support of my vision for the past 8 years and welcome you to the position of President of Personal Best Seminars Alberta.  There is no one better prepared, more skilled and more willing. I am honored and thrilled to pass the torch to you.

Here is to creating consciousness, contribution and abundance in the world.

A Note from Rae-ann

Venturing into a “New Year” has unique meaning for me this year. Historically I approach the launch of a new chronological year with a reflective look on the year that is passing through. At the start of this year I have found my thoughts to be far more focused on what 2009 will bring. A thread of anxiety has followed the contemplative time and I have had the opportunity to hear my own voice in my head say (as I have said many times in the classroom) anxiousness and excitement manifest the same way in your body, it is only your perception that determines how you label your emotion, and with that voice of mine in my own head, I say with conviction “I am very excited about stepping into a new stage of my journey and evolution as a leader, facilitator and business owner! ” With change comes the opportunity for growth and I trust that all of us in the Personal Best family will have a chance to experience the benefits of this transformation regardless of your place in the mix.  For Jay, my mentor, my inspiration and my friend I look forward to seeing what that magnificent mind will muster for all of us, considering you will have more time to vision than ever before! For all of the staff I am excited to see how a larger collective vision and consciousness can support each of you in manifesting greater  and greater results personally and professionally. And of course for you, our loyal clients and agents of change, a more efficient business model that reduces barriers and creates greater access to better and more powerful programs. For my family who continues to support me in all that I do, may this year bring us closer to manifesting all we have worked so hard for and you will see the rewards for your ongoing willingness to allow me the space I need to live my life with passion and joy. So Happy New Year to all of you, both those I have had the pleasure of working with already and those of you that I may get the chance to experience in the future.
