Not so sure of the meaning of Pillar #4.

Thanks for the comment. Pillar 4 “I align my life and resources around my passion and gifts” is one of the most important filters around what we will (and will not) allow in our life. The truth is that the vast majority of people in the world set up and design their lives around “have to’s” I have to work at a job I don’t like, because I have to pay for my mortgage, kids education or car payment. This pillar takes the position that our life is too precious, our gifts too valuable to waste our time, energy, money on anything we are not passionate about or gifted with in some way shape or form.
A simple example is that I LOVE personal development, I am uber passionate about it, thankfully I am also gifted with supporting people with transforming themselves and their lives. I have designed my entire life and business around this and it is a huge contributor to my quality of life, happiness and contribution.
This is very different than what most people do which is a version of prostituting themselves 8 hours a day so that they can “enjoy” themselves the other 8 hours a day.
Reminds me of the old saying “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life!”

You have a Personal Sustainability Audit listed – when you speak of Sustainability in Pillar 3, is it a broad definition of sustainability, or only specific to personal sustainability. i.e. you could have environmental sustainability or business sustainability.
Also, I love how you have chosen “vote” as your verb. I can think of many ways that I show my intentions, or vote, with my resources!
Jacquie, This pillar is huge, its implications are EVERYTHING. To apply it I have been using this question “Is this sustainable?” that includes relationships, energy, business, health the whole shebang!!

Hey Oldrich, I was having some of that trouble in Safari on my mac but it works perfectly on Firefox. Note: Because it has many images you may have to wait 20- 30 seconds for it to load AFTER the white page appears. I am thrilled to hear the weekend went well for you. I really thought that he would shift you POV on real estate and the scale of opportunities that exist, especially for you!
